The tragic disaster of Apollo 1 took place on this day, 50 years ago. The bravery of Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee will always be remembered. I can’t think of a better way to honor them than this illustration. I choked up a little bit when I came across it. May their souls be at rest with the spirit in the sky.
