To celebrate Superbowl Sunday, NASA astronaut Tim Kopra gently tossed a football down the length of the ISS. As the International Space Station is constantly travelling at a speed of 17,500mph, the football covered a total distance of 564,664 yards as measured by someone standing on Earth.
