Apollo set the stage for the exploration of space, but then the world lost its spark.
The Space Shuttle was not a bad program, it did many great things, including Hubble repair missions and construction of the International Space Station.
In fact it is a shame we don’t have the shuttle’s capability any longer.
Now the worlds eyes are set on exploring again, with a return to the Moon in the sights of some, Mars in the sights of others.
