The Moon as seen by the Apollo 8 astronauts as they began to approach it. They were the first humans to ever orbit the Earth. I can only imagine how awe-inspiring it must have been for Frank Borman, Jim Lovell, and Bill Anders as they became the first humans to ever see this small and mysterious world.
