A beautiful photo from the launch of the Titan III-Centaur rocket carrying Voyager 2 on the 20th of August, 1977, about two weeks before the September 5th launch of Voyager 1. The reason for the reverse order is because the two were sent on different trajectories, and Voyager 1 was put on a path to reach its planetary targets, Jupiter and Saturn, before Voyager 2!
