We may think ourselves stationary but we just traveled 540 million miles around our parent Star. Our solar system is also traveling at an average speed of 14.000 miles per hour around the Milky Way. This trajectory around the galactic center takes 250 million (give or take) terrestrial years. This is called galactic or Cosmic year. and what journey this has been!
