Not too sure which year this was taken in, but I found it on Pinterest this morning, and I found it to be rather interesting. It is a picture of astronaut Ed White holding a a very old model of the lunar module that was being proposed at that time. If you look closely at the picture, you can see that it was a rather simple craft, and appeared almost bug-like. The model he is holding is a far cry from the spacecraft that landed on the Moon. It amazes me to think how much this little craft was modified between this picture being taken and it actually being flown in space in 1969. Have a great day!
