A NASA test subject undergoing a test in a gimbal system on January 20, 1967 to train for the future lunar landings in a low-gravity environment. Many test subjects in the space agency were flipped upside down, told to walk sideways, and turned in all directions in order to train for the low-gravity environment of the Moon. It was very strenuous work.
