I have been at the controls of an airplane numerous times, and I always have a pure sense of exhilaration and joy at the fact that I am breaking the terrestrial bonds of gravity. It is an experience that I cannot live without. I can only imagine what it is like to float free in the void of space without any gravity restraining you, and where you are completely free, and where you can truly fly.
