The famous Crab Nebula (above) is a result of a supernova explosion. This violent explosion occurs when a star experiences a change in its center or core. The exploding star may end up as a black hole and a nebula, or if the explosion isn’t as big, it may end up as a neutron star and a nebula. The stellar explosion is so massive that for a period of time it outshines the entire galaxy! DONT WORRY THOUGH 🙂 our sun isn’t big enough to experience this explosion! We’re safe ��������
