EmpOwerU has been asked by Mr. Larry Rivera and Project 2nd Chance to bring to you Katherine G. Johnson day on March 3, 2017. This will be a day of love, reflection, acknowledgement and inspiration. An annual day chosen for our Fayetteville community to show Mrs. Katherine how much we appreciate her contributions to society, and to let the world know she is more than a movie. It takes more than a day to explain her impact; the journey will not stop on March 3rd. It is our duty to educate not only our children, but adults as well. Let’s all do our part. Mrs. Johnson has done hers.
