A little over a year ago, I sold my first print at the @ualpl event Art of Planetary Science. Four of my photos are again on display beginning tonight through the weekend at the Kuiper Space Sciences Building at the University of Arizona. Come say hi!
This photograph depicts an extreme close-up of a section of the first stage of a Saturn V rocket. This stage would have lofted Apollo 19 to orbit in July 1972, on a mission to the Moon’s Hyginis rille region. The stage is now part of a display of an entire Saturn V launch vehicle at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
