Some very beautiful clouds photographed by @astro_timpeake. Did you know there are over ten types of clouds? They are divided in three groups. .
-The High Clouds: Cirrus, Cirrostratus, Cirrocumulus .
-The Mid Clouds: Altostratus, Altocumulus, Nimbostratus .
-The Low Clouds: Cumulus, Stratus, Cumulonimbus, Stratocumulus
Since the cloud on this picture lies very high and is a flat sheet, I’d suggest that it is a Cirrostratus, but I have to admit that I don’t know a lot about it.
